Despite distracting mixed signals, I knew how you felt before asking the question.
I am left dissatisfied, not necessarily because I feel something more than you do; I doubt that I do. What I feel is a need to know I can be loved; that I am a person capable of inspiring that response.
And you, much as I appreciate the way of things, are not going to confirm that for me.
