The thing with you is that every time we speak of such things, I add it effortlessly to the story. You know, the story with you and me in it.
It's problematic, because it gives everything a ridiculously -pompously- large context.
You tell me - assuringly? - that, just because I go quiet for a few weeks, you won't disappear. Are you consciously making the effort to show me this significant change since seven years ago; are you even aware of how it points back to the way things were, once?
Of course, I was always the absent one, and I still am: But this time around, you are less inclines to see it as lack of interest.
Which is a shame, because it would have made it so much easier for me to simply distance myself the way I do with anything too complex to want to deal with; eventually, most things go away.
